TUESDAYS - 7 PM TIL 9 PM

OBJECTIVE

- TO OFFER TRAINING TO PERSONS

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A

LICENSED TOUR GUIDE IN THE

WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA

NOTE= LICENSES ARE GRANTED BY DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA GOVERNMENT

The applicants will participate in an exciting and interesting training course covering a wide range of information on such subjects as:

* American history

* National Monuments and Memorials

* Facts and trivia about Washington, D.C.

* Black history points of interest

* Plus many other subjects.

The field work includes visits to the monuments and memorials, a bus tour and a walking tour of the National Mall.
